Basilica de San Martin de Tours is a church that is close to my heart. We prayed here for a gift of child, we were given children - twins Julia and Rafael. This church is commonly known as Basilica de Taal or Taal Basilica. It is the biggest Catholic Church in the Philippines and Asia. Located at Taal Town Center, Poblacion, Taal, Batangas, this is a church you wouldn't want to miss when touring Taal.
Best time to visit the place is at 6am so you can join the Holy Mass.
Take enough photos while the temperature is at its finest.
Catholics have this belief that wishes will be granted faster if it's your first time to visit a church. Well, I could not agree mor. It was my first time to visit in 2001. We prayed for a child. In 2002, we were blessed with not just one but two kids!
I wanted to go up the bell tower where we can view the whole of Taal but the heat of the sun, plus the P100 (for adult) and P50 (kids) fee refrain us from going on the top.
The kids enjoy throwing coins in the wishing well where kois abound.
